I used to go to Eisenhower Park when I was a kid. They have a big hill.

Brrrrrrr....it's really coming down over here in pt. jeff...just moved the car into a better spot...i'm freezing....sorry I did all my sledding out here in suffolk

I remember going to Bethpage State Park.. I also went to Eisenhower.. over by the Acquatic Center (of course it wasn't there when I used to go)

Bethpage state park is great!
But without sounding all 'mom' like..please wait till Monday, today and tommorow's winds are dangerous to be outside in.

I used to go to Eisenhower Park when I was a kid. They have a big hill.

Some of my fav memories as a kid are sledding on that hill with my brother in our red saucers

banging in to each other and trying to make each other wipe out on that hill

Great!!! We have a park across the street(little park)but they are redoing the play ground and there were mounds of sand that are now mounds of snow so we took the kids over there for now and they had a blast. As soon as the weather is drivable I think we will hit Bethpage or Eisenhower. Hey Janice thanks for the idea too but there's no sumps around here my cousins do that all the time in Hicksville.

Sounds like fun. Me and my brother used to go to forest park in Queens and do the same thing. We had a really nice radio flyer wooden sled.
