What do you recommend? SHould I do it at all? My 3 year old may play shy.. If you think its a good idea - can you recommend a song for all 3 of us or for the 2 of us?

I personally think that your 3 yrd old wont want to dance. Even if he does, he may get bored have way through the song and try to walk away. Children as you know are so unpredictable and if they don't want to do something, most likely they wont.

would you consider adding him into your first dance song half way through? You could have the DJ announce something " little xxxx will now join his mom and stepdad for their first family dance"

I totally think you should go for dancing with your son. I know I will. My son will be turning 5 three days after we get married, so I may also have everyone sing happy birtday!! We are also be incorporating him into the ceremony, the priest that is doing my wedding was actually excited about it. I am so happy.

My kids are actually making up most of the wedding party and my 13yr old son will be walking me down the aisle since my dad passed away and then he will join the rest of the bridal party. I also plan to dance with him to summerwind for the father daughter dance as they flash pics of me and my dad on the screen(summerwind is a song I have always danced with my son too since he's little). I have a 2yr. old who will have just turned 3 and a 1yr. old who will have just turned 2 who will be my ring boys and my daughter and step daughter will be my bridesmaids. We are giving them each pendants in church to symbolize our family coming together. I definetly think you should include your little guy any way you can.

Im having him walk me down the aisle with my father... He is also getting a firetruck birthday cake and all our guests will sing to him (He turns 4 a few days earlier) I was going to have him dance with me... but I dont know if hed do it... I was thinking of giving him a ring on a necklace or something... but Id rather give him something hed wear - any ideas?
