White gold E-ring & wedding band

I have noticed that my e-ring and wedding band are turning yellow in the back. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean that they are yellow gold dipped in white. I am really annoyed about this.

yes, that happened to me. But, that's what white gold is. It's yellow gold dipped in a nickel/alloy mixture...

my e-ring is turing yellow on the bottom also. I went to my jeweler about this and they that the finishing is coming off and bit, but you can get it redipped, but you should not do it that often. He told to do it once a yr. So I am going to have it done before my wedding so the weddign band matches up good.

Oh I had no idea!. Oh well. I guess when they get bad enough I will get them redipped. Thanks for the info.

I have white gold, and I see it on my ering, but not so much my wedding band. I guess I have to take care of it soon.

Just clean it at home every now and then and I would say get it re-dipped no more than once a year. I had mine re-dipped right before my wedding and it was gorgous.
