Romantic restaurants in Queens?
I'm thinking ahead for Valentine's Day. Since its a Monday I can't see us trekking into the city, so I was thinking of staying either in Northern Queens or Western Nassau. Any suggestions?

There's an Italian Restuarant in Queens called Stella - I went there last year. It was very good. Unfortunately, I can't remember where it is

Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?
this is in southern queens, but La Nora in howard beach is SOOOO romantic. Also Dodici in I think valley stream or rockville centre is really nice.

If you are talking about Stellas on Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park by little neck Parkway. It has some great food. I recommend them too. There is a really nice romantic restaurant on Francis Lewis I dont know the name its right around 35th. there is a parking lot next to it too. (Im sitting here racking my brains cause Ive been there somany times I forget the name. All I know is its really good)

Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?
T--I know where you mean...close to the poolhall? It used to be called Il Piccolo years ago.Ernestos is also on Francis Lewis & about 32nd...quaint restaurant, good food, not very romantic (usual restaurant).
La Grota is on Northern in Little Neck...there is a waterfall inside & awesome Italian food.
You also can't go wrong w/ the Parkside restaurant in Corona (the side room w/ the windows).
Good luck!
Cin
PS--Although on Valentine's usually service is not as good and you are a bit rushed...at any place.

Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?
I've never been to Primo Amore... that might be a front runner. I've been to Ernesto's a million times... the food is good, but not a real romantic place.I have a feeling Parkside is going to be horrible to try to get a reservation this late, but I might try that too.

DH and I love the Napa and Sonoma Steakhouse on 149th and the Cross Island service road in Whitestone. The food is excellent, it has a great wine list, and it's very romantic.Welcome New Vendors
