Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?

I went to the Steakhouse.... the food was very good! And it is nice inside, they have a little bar right next door which seems nice. I have to admit, it was a little pricey for Queens though, more like city prices.

Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?

That's what I heard that it's more pricey. Is it romantic?

Amice Amore is good and romantic. It's in Astoria. DH and I go there a lot. It's on Newtown Avenue and I think 29th Street. Right on that corner.

Get the OSSO BUCCO!!!! It's absolutely incredible!!!! (where's the drooling emoticon?).

I don't know if I consider it romantic ... I've only been there with my dad (he knows the owner) or other family

Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?

Napa and Sonoma - to be honest I was with my parents and brother so it wasn't the most romantic experience. From what I remember, there were couples and some groups too....wasn't the most romantic place I'd ever been to, but it had potential...I'm sure on Valentine's day it will.

You also can't go wrong w/ the Parkside restaurant in Corona (the side room w/ the windows).

Good luck!

Cin

PS--Although on Valentine's usually service is not as good and you are a bit rushed...at any place.

I was going to say the Parkside- I got engaged the FIRST time there!

Re: Romantic restaurants in Queens?

i''m leaning toward Prima Amore on Francis Lewis because it is the closest, but I may have check the others out in the upcoming weeks... they all sound good!
