Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

Hi,

I am new to this site...

I just wanted to know if there are any fomer or current Chateau Briand brides who are willing to share their good or bad experiences with me.

I have visted Verdi's and was not impressed with them b/c there was too much going on all at once.

That same night I went down the street to Chateau Briand and fell in love with ther decor. The banquet mgr. Kerry that I spoke was very nice and informative.

I am thinking about booking with them but would like some feedback!!

Also did you or will you have your ceremony there? I am thinking about doing everything in one place... any pics to see!

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

I had my reception at the CB on OCt 30th. We were in the De Vinci room for the reception. I have to say that it was a great choice. We had 215 guests my biggest concern was finding a dance floor that would fit that guest count. The dance floor was perfect. The room was perfect...all the carpets and bathrooms were done about 1 month before my wedding. I do recommend the chair covers...it makes such a difference to the look and feel of the room vs. the blue chairs. FM if you want further info, but for me it was a great choice.

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

Thank you so much for your response... I was thinking about chair covers as well b/c of the color of the chairs but Kerry the banquest mgr that I was talking to said that it would be too much money and time consuming to put those on. I am not sure if she was saying this on behalf of her staff or b/c of the the rental places.

Who was your banquet mgr?

I was really impressed by their presentation the first time I went there back in Dec. I think I was there over an hour which was good.

I am thinking of booking th Normandy room!

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

my banquet manager is no longer there he is a gm at another hall but there are still several good ones there. i used chair covers and i loved them i got mine from the finishing touch and it really looked amazing. but i did a winter theme and everything was icy white so i had to get them. i think there house vendor charged me like 3.50 a chair and 1.50 for a bow or something like that.

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

Are you required to use their house vendors?

Are they reasonably priced?

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

I had my wedding there in October in the Normandy room. We had a great time and they were wonderful to me and my husband.
All my guest had a great time and the food was amazing!! They do a great job there.
We were very happy with them and do not at all regret our choice.

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

HI!
I got married in the Normandy room last March. I loved it! The staff was fantastic as well as the food. They had everything covered. The tables were oval and we didnt use chair covers. We wanted to save on the money. I attached a picture of our centerpiece. If you like CB decor then go for it.

Re: Any Chateau Briand Brides Out there

Pink Rose.. tahnk you for your response.

Did you find that the Normandy room was a little dark? i am thinking of putting lots of candles on each table to brighten up the room a little.

Who was your banquet manager. At teh moment i am speaking with Kerry and she to really nice and down to earth.

From what I am hearing I do not have anything to worry about with CB!

After making your deposit with CB what was the next step with them. When do you meet with your wedding coordinator and when do you start discussing the menu and so forth!

If you don't mind please give me a little run down.
