Thursday was difficult, but quick.. The mediator was good about us signing and getting out of there as quickly as possible. It was a lot of signatures but other than that, husband and I did not speak a word to each other. He wouldnt even look at me. After all of the signing, he left right away while my cousin came in to sign an affadafit. It takes 3 months
for it to be official.

Once the papers were signed and we left, my cousin took me to Victory in Garden City where my sister, my best friends Aimee and Christine, my aunt (cousins mom who I am very close with) were there. Basically, half of my bridal party. We had a drink and hugged and talked. It was really nice to have that support there. It made the night a lot better.

my husband left me a nasty message after that, which again validates I made the right decision. He basically said I ruined his life an d he is going back to his old ways! Is he kidding? Its because he never got out of his old ways that I had no choice but to leave. It just proves he will always blame everyone around him but himself and will never change. Hes a liar and I am better off out of that lifestyle and atmosphere.

This weekend I have been preparing for Vegas. Thank god I am going away. A change of atmosphere. I went shopping yesterday for Vegas attire. I am looking forward to this mini-trip. It should be fun.

Thank you again to everyone who has been a constant support to me by posting ans sending fms. I promise nothing but good posts from now on. No more crying and tears... Life is too short. :)

I am sorry you had to go through this but I am happy you felt you made the right decision. Good for you.

Now its your turn to relax and enjoy the trip to Vegas!

oh hun im so sorry to hear all u went threw but am so glad u were strong, being around a strong support system is the best thing to do and i have faith u did what was best for you.. u have a whole new world filled with posibilities open to you now!!!!! we r here for you!

Kristi, Im sorry. What a horrible week. But know it will get better from here. You made the right choice and he validated it. Have the best time in Vegas. I love Vegas I even wanted to move there. It is such a fun place and theres so much to see and do.. AND ITS WARMER THEN HERE!

I am soo glad you realized you made the right decision about the annulment papers you dont need that guilt trip by your soon to be ex husband. you have a great time in las vegas! lets us know how it was. we love you and are alway's here for you Kristi. Lots of hugs and keep your chin up high.

I'm glad that you were so strong and thought of yourself. Things are going to get better just have a lot of faith. Have fun in vegas, you deserve it.

Im glad that day is over!! Im glad that you are moving on and that yoru decision was right for you! What you did absolutley takes guts and I am so very very very proud of you!!!! Many people would give the guy chance after chance but you didnt play around...and I hope you have a beautiful time in Vegas!!! It will be great, I just know it! Im glad you have support all around you!!!
And you can post on here about happy, sad, whatever you want! I know I speak for everyone when I say we love you and want you to be happy!!! I have a really cute friend, actually TWO really cute friends whenever you are ready! One is my best guy friend and one is My husbands best friend!!! Both really nice guys!!!

you are too funny. youd be surprised how many people have come to me with someone they want me to meet. Its sweet that people care like that.
I actually did do on a double date a few weeks ago... the guy was in a similar situation as me... had a great time- talked on the phone for two hours- set up a date but he had to cancel b/c of work- asked for a raincheck... so well see. hes very nice and knows where im coming from because he went through it also- his ex-wife (from long beach) was like my husband.... go figure!!!
Other than that, Im taking a break from relationships for a while and letting my heart mend. Im just going to enjoy life and have fun.. Watch out Vegas!!!

Great!!! You let your heart mend..and when you are ready..come see me!!! One guys is a Pilot, hes my best guy friend..we used to have slumber parties, go dancing..hes so much fun he lives in Florida now, but comes back all the time..he flies for free, so he can come here whenever he wants. Hes great..he even likes to shop..hes very tall, Irish, froma very nice family!!! He wouldnt be my best friend if he werent great!
The other guy is Dex's best friend since high school, also from a very nice family, CUTE, does construction but is in ahigh position and makes good money. Hes sucha nice guy, hes definately my favorite of Dex's friends.

Kristi, I'm glad to read that you had a great support system the day you signed the papers, are are beginning to feel a little bit better now that this part is over. You know in your heart you did all you could and made the right decision for your future

You truly have a wonderful outlook on what's yet to come - now is the time to be a little bit selfish and for you to find what it is that will bring you your own happiness

Have an AWESOME time in Las Vegas... its so much fun there

I'm glad you're ok Kristi!!! I was worrying about you! Having that support system around you is VERY important and so is your Vegas trip. It gives you something to get your mind off of everything and a time in your life that you can look back and see your 'starting over' point.
