dresses with backs
I want my dress to have a full back to it. I don't care if the front dips down or whatever, but I want it to have a back. So, no strapless, no low scoop-back, etc. I'm having a really hard time finding anything. Can people post pictures of dresses with backs if they have them? Thanks!!!

Re: dresses with backs
I feel your frustration. I can not find enough dresses in magazines with sleeves and backs!! I'm not getting married in the summer. And I feel naked in strapless dresses. I don't like this new strapless trend. I do thing they are beautiful but not for me.

Re: dresses with backs
This is one of my FAVORITE dresses!!! If I wasn't set on strapless I swear I would have gotten this one.

Re: dresses with backs
I have a friend who is Mormon and has to have sleeves/shoulders covered. She discovered that many dress designers are used to doing 'religious upgrades' and most seamstresses/tailors can add exactly what you need/want.

Re: dresses with backs
I totally understand how you feel. I have a BLACK tattoo between my shoulder blades that is about two inches square. I don't regret having done it as it has great significance to me, but out of respect for my faith, should I get married in a synogogue, It is best to not have it show.A part of me would like to find a dress that would cover it completely but I have yet to see a dress that I like that can cover my back. I prefer strapless, spaghetti strap or tank top styles.
Another part of me says to put make up on it but then it dawned on me that my back and shoulders have freckles. I'd have to have one hell of a make up artist cover it and make fake freckles so I dont look as if I have a big blotch in the middle of my back.
A shawl is another option but I wouldnt wear it for pictures or after the ceremony. I don't plan on having too many pictures taken of my back and if the tattoo happens to appear in a picture, I can have it retouched.
If I don't cover it at all, I will have people pointing at it all night and asking questions.
