question about trying to get pregnant

Hi - my SIL is trying to get pregnant again. She has a 1 year old and was breast feeding until this past December. She has not had her AF since she get pregnat with him and it is almost 22 months later. She has been trying to get prenant for a few months now, but I thought you need oAF to arrive again in order for this to happen. Am I wrong or can you actually get pregnant without getting AF? Sorry if I made this cound so complicated.

You need to ovulate to get pregnant (AF usually comes shortly after). Since she stopped breastfeeding she will probably start ovulating again and be able to get pregnant. If she doesnt get it in a few months (without being sure shes not pregnant) Id see a doc.
