Ahhh...sometimes I wonder why the heck I live in Maine! They're expecting us to get about 20' by the end of this storm! Here's some pics from the front and back of our house.

Yes, it is very beautiful here....but what's even more beautiful than the snow is an 80 degree summer day with the 3 minute walk to the lake!

Nice!!!! Now you have me homesick for Tenneessee. My parents live on a lake with a veiw of the Great Smoky Mountains. It's beauitful!!

I was just talking to my SIL, she said it is snowing like crazy...Unfortunately my brother is away at the Police Academy, so she has to wait for someone to shovel her (she is 6 weeks PG) Now you know why I stay away until June I like it better looking out my window in June-August & seeing the boats go by rather then the snowmobiles!

Don't remind me. And then we have tick season...then mosquito season...then it rains for a month straight...a few glorious fall days and then it's winter again.

Even though it is mosquito season, it is one beautiful summer!!! Can't wait to get the water-skiing going!! Soemthing to look forward to!

those pics are beautiful!!!
I love snow and how it makes everything look a little softer, a little less gritty and dirty

Last I heard about snow here in NY was 2-5 inches sometime tonight - but it's about 40 degrees outside right now.... It's not cold enough to snow yet!

Me too. I love pics of 'untouched snow'... I think it makes everything look so funky.

Unfortunatly, that is a lot of snow you are expecting.....good luck
