has anyone heard of anyone getting PG while using ONLY condoms.....

that's what we are doing for right now and AF isn't due till the end of Feb/beginning of March (I got my first AF after my miscarriage aroune 1/31)

don't think I'm PG...just curious if accidents happen

What are they 95% effective so I guess if the timing is right there is a chance of it happening but I'll bet it mostly happens to people who don't want it to happen.

nope, not really. The only ways it could happen would be a broken condom (extremely, extremely rare) or failure to put it on before any semen 'got out'.

I've not only heard of it, I know someone it happened to. And the condom didn't break, at least not as far as they knew.

there's always a chance.....they are only a certain percentage accurate which could be compromised by a rip, etc. it is also important they are put on correctly, not stored in too hot or too cold temps, etc. one of my friend had two kids this way - but plenty of others use it successfully.

I don't take BC pills and have been using condoms with DH for the past 4 years faithfully and we never have had an accident.

While it might be possible, i think a lot of times that people say this happens they put the condom on too late. I never let anythign happen until the condom is on, there is leakage before anything happens.

I know someone who got pregnant she did not read the expiration date on the package, she claims she did not know they had one... ??? Anyway she is a mom to a 4 year old little girl.

Yes it is possible. As others have said, condoms are not 100% effective.

Yes I know of someone who got pregnant while only using condoms. One night it broke and that was it.

My brother and his GF and my best friend and her husband BOTH had this happen to them, using condoms, neither broke...

I now have a 1 year old niece and a 1.5 year old 'nephew'
