NWR - Todays my 28th Birthday! Where should FH & I go to eat?
I have been to all the regular places. Do you have any resteraunts by you in Suffolk that is amazing? One maybe I havent heard of?
Yesterday was our anniversary and we werent able to be together either... Any ideas?

The Carriage House in Babylon is great. Also Michael & I love Joe's pasta & Pizza in Bay Shore....yummy!

Even though it doesn't look like much from the outside, The Duck Pond Inn in Bayshore on Montauk Hwy is so awesome. It is small, the food is really good (continental), and they have a really great singer there on Saturdays. You are always guaranteed a good time there. Just make sure you make reservations early!

Pasta Pasta is great! Have you tried Caio Baby in Commack or Massapequa? I've never been there, but i've heard great things!

Happy Birthday!! I've worked in restaurants, so let me think of where i've been that is really good...i went with my girlfriends to Argyle (i think it's in Babylon) & we loved that place. Pentimento's in Stony Brook (fine dining) is really good & has a nice atmosphere. FH and i love to go to Mama's in holbrook. oooo, i forgot, Bella Vita City Grill in St. James- amazing- we love that place. we've been to rothman's and found it overpriced honestly. FM me if you have any questions!! have fun!!

I love Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip and there is a relatively new restaraunt in Amityville called Bellissimo. The food and atmosphere is great in both places. Happy B-day and have fun!

Happy Birthday!! Try to get a reservation at Bravo Nader's in Huntington- it is by far my favorite Italian restaurant, but $$. Not your average sauce and cheese type of place- I'm talking the owner (Nader- trained in Egypt and Italy) catches his own fish each week- truly an amazing restaurant.
Or, Maroni's in Northport- don't get the regular menu, get the tasting menu- so good, and so much fun! I think it's cash only, about $100pp, but totally worth it.

There is a new restaurant called The Bridge in Bay Shore right before the Southern State Parkway...I was there last weekend for appetizers and drinks and it was really good!
A little pricey though!
I also love Cafe Nuvolari in Islip and Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip.
Tellers in Islip is good, but I think it is way overpriced!
Also, I haven't been to the Crazy Dog in Sayville yet, but I have heard good things...
