Rethinking hair ........ honest opinions needed

As much as I LOVE my long hair, Im not sure if its going to look right with my strapless dress. As always, I truly respect your honest opinion, as you guys have always helped me make the right decision. The first pic is my dress. The second is the hairstyle I want to go with. The third pic hairstyle is an updo which might better suit my dress. The fourth pic is my tiara

Jen, I was really torn about this as well. In the end, I liked the clean line with no hair on my shoulder, to really accentuate the bodice of the dress. Am I making sense at all. I vote up.

Diva,

The 1st picture of the 1/2 up, 1/2 down you posted is what I modeled my hair after. I didn't have it comepletely pulled back like the model did, but I did the flip like she had all over my head.

Lisa, I cant find the pics that you posted from your wedding. Can you post a pic of your hair for me?

Jenn, I know EXACTLY what your talking about. That's my concern, I want the dress to stand out in all its glory. But the first pic (and everyone will agree) fits my personality. I cant believe Im stressing about hair!

I don't have a good photo of the back at all

Mind you, I wasn;t thrilled the way MY hairdresser did it the day of my wedding. She did it awesome for the trial, and the day of the wedding, she totally tanked.

Yup! and i loved the hair down. But I am biased, since I am having my hair down as well. And since updo's make my face look really moon-ish.

I had to vote for down. I remember thinking what gorgeous hair you have and I can totally see that hairdo with your gown. I think it compliments the dress, not takes away from iy

i'm a big fan of updos when you're wearing strapless...it brings an air of elegance no matter what you're wearing. my hair is long too, but i don't want to have to worry about frizzies or be hot, and would prefer it off of my neck for a long wedding day. JMHO.

The first one is a half up/half down. The picture looks like its up, but its actually a small ponytail, with the rest down.

Diva...u have to do what suits ur face....
I have a strapless dress too, and I went the half down half up route, mainly bc thats what suits my face better....
and it'll still be fine with the dress..
