I have no problem with Fridays.. I'm actually not in the city on Fridays, but I have no problem coming in for a GTG.

possibly, but during the week sux, cuz then we all have to get up early the next morning

I have no problem waking up early --even if I am up late one night. But really, how late would a little G2G possibly be that it would actually effect sleeping patterns?

the bottom line is make the date and whoever comes, comes

i see so many GTG's fall apart because of attendance and i think that is silly

i mean if 3 people show up and you get friendly with those 3, those are 3 more people you are friends with

small gathering are much better for making lasting friendships

I personally prefer Thursdays for city things, b/c on Fridays I usually go out to dinner with DH in Westchester.
