Maybe Ecco on Jericho Tpke (I think they changed the name recently to 'Uncle' something). I know they have a private room there.

I would go with Umberto's or Jonathan's. I would say Pomordino if you want something very laid back (it is a possiblity of mine.).

I had my engagement party at Pomodorino's in NHP on hillside.. it was soooooooo great, people still talk about it 2 yrs later. Also Uncle Bacala's is great food but the place is small. I saw the party room and it isnt that big...good luck

Went to a great Italian Restaurant last week in New Hyde Park on Jericho Turn. called Benchenzo's. Not sure of the spelling. They have a separate party room. Excellent food and service.
