Registry ?: Are the OXO products the same price regardless of store?

Hi Ladies.

I am obsessed with the OXO gadgets.

I am registering at Crate and Barrell, Fortunoff and BB & B. All of them have OXO. I'm having trouble cross referencing the prices on the websites - anyone know offhand if the prices are the same wherever you buy them? And also, who has the most selection of OXO products? THanks!

I kinda gave up on price comparison between registries. It was making me crazy and since some stores may run sales more often than others, that made it even harder to compare. I registered fo0r a bunch of OXO stuff at Bloomingdales, but not all of it is avail. on their website.

From what I've seen, they are pretty much the same regular price. But, I've never seen Fortunoff ever do a sale on them. But, I recently went to JC Penny's and they had 25% off all of the OXO gadgets, so I bought the rest that I needed.

I also haven't really ever seen Macy's put them on sale. That's why I jumped on them when I saw them on sale at JC Penny's

edited to add: BB&B always has those 20% or $5 off coupons, so I think your best bet would be to register for them at BB&B.

i'm pretty sure fortunoffs and bbb are the same price, i remember comparing mine and my cousin's registry.

FH put in one request as far as when we register. He wants all OXO gadgets. They are very good and probably worth every penny. I am sure they are standard in price, but I would think it would be up to the individual store to discount them. Just a guess.

we registered for all of our oxo products at bloomingdales --they were very organized there as opposed to fortunoff where i felt everything was all over the place...

A big manufacturer like OXO really shouldn't differ in price by retailer. Some dept stores who offer 20% off usually have the item marked way up anyway. Usually.

I work for BedBath and they will not be undersold. If you see the same exact item somewhere else for less, they will honor that price. They also take competitor's coupons!

i registered for OXO... some at macys, some at BBB.... more times than not, they are a bit more expensive at macy's (but not by much)... but with macy's registery you also are getting 5% of your purchases back after the wedding... so that is something to consider too!
