Spinoff to Jenn's post. What is the best vacation you have ever taken?

Mine would have to be Mexico. It was so memorable, that we are going back to renew our vows and have the wedding we never had.

I have to say Florida! I know its a 'common' vacation spot, but to leave LI for a few days is just great!

My parents have a house in Deerfield Beach (Ft. Lauderdale area).
I cant wait to get there. My grandmother is with my uncle in CA (6 months here, 6 there) but I still havent had the chance to go out there and see her. I think next year when she is there we may do CA instead of FL but who knows.

My absolute favorite was Hawaii on our HM. It was great because it was our HM but also because Hawaii is so scenic and I enjoyed the beaches and touring the islands.

I also really enjoyed London/Paris and Israel.

Where in Mexico? DH and I were thinking of booking a trip there but don't know what part to go to! We know we don't want to go to Cancun.

My favorite vacation, easily, was Costa Rica! I'd go back there in a second!

Definitely our Cross Country honeymoon through 27 states!!! I don't know how we'll top that one!!!

Me & DH (he was my boyfriend at the time), took a trip to California. He was in a wedding, but we decided to make a trip out of it. It was great!! First we stayed in San Fran for 2 days, stayed in Napa (wine tasting - yum) for 3 days - plus the wedding), back to San Fran for a day and then to Monteray for a day!
I wish we could do it all over again!!!

My first trip with DH when we were still dating. We went to the Finger Lakes for five days. It was a big deal because we were three months into the relationship and I knew that it was a test of sorts.

We had an amazing time. We stayed at two different bed and breakfasts which were very different but great in their own ways. (We were in the southern part of the region for a few days and then drove further north for a few days.)

In the mornings we went swimming and spent time at the state parks and after lunch we hit the wineries. It was so much fun. After that we'd have dinner and then go back to the b&b for hot tubbing (one of them even had a hot tub in the room!). We learned that we were great travel companions and we had such an excellent time. Our HM to St. Lucia was a close second.

In the mayan riviera or playa del carmen. It all depends on what you are looking for. We went to the iberostar resort, unreal.

definately costa rica! DH and I fed WILD crocodiles! I felt like the crocodile hunter LOL!

HAWAII!!! I loved it because first it was our honeymoon but also because Hawaii was AMAZING!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I look at my pictures everyday and dream of going back!!! We also went to San Fran on the way there which was new we'd never been to Cali before and We loved it. And then on the way back it was Vegas Which we have been to before a lot but still Like.

AND Id also love to go cross country like boop did!!!!

I WANT TO GO BACK TO HAWAII!!!!

ID say to the lake upstate NY.. We have a house and in the front yard is a 3 mile lake. FH and I love to go up and fish, hike and lay around in the sun... Im into quiet... no $$... no schedule LOL I would defiantely say Copake Lake.

Havent had too many, hopefully my honeymoon this weekend! Second was Florida a few years ago to Disney with FH.

They've all been great for different reasons. I don't think I could pick just one.

China was probably the most fascinating for many reasons: 1. because their culture isn't remotely close to ours or the Europeans, 2. I was able to see what my DH does for a living. I didn't do just 'touristy' things. He took me to work with him.
