Not getting married in a church question????

If you are not getting married in a church and getting married at the hall... are you throwing anything (rose petals, bird seed) after you get married? How does that work if you are not leaving a church?

FH's cousins had it at a place where they got married in a gazebo, and guests were seated on either side... then as they walked back down the 'aisle' toward the hall, we got up and threw rose petals at them.

We are not getting married in a church and won't be throwing anything. FSIL made a good point (she didn't have anything thrown either) I don't want to be picking anything out of my hair and bra for the next couple hours

we are having bubbles.

That's what we did and it worked out very well! Looked great. We had the hall put on bubble container on all the aisle seats then scatter them every other chair. Everyone blew the bubbles!

I got married at the hall, and didn't have anyone throw anything.
But I do like the idea of the bubbles.

We had bubbles for outside of our church and they didn't work, so we had nothing

If you're inside at the hall, check with them before you decide on bubbles. Many of them will not allow it if they have slippery floors.

We're getting married at the Cottage and are not throwing anything.

Our ceremony was held at our reception hall. We threw flower petals (but I did double check with the hall first that it was okay)

We;re doing bubbles....but really only handing them to the guest sitting on the aisle since they will have to blow them when we walk out of the wedding!
