How Many People Are on Your Guest List?

My FI and I have been using 150 as a guideline because that is what we guaranteed at the hall to be the only bride on a Friday night. Then last night we decided to sit down and make a list since my parent's finally gave us a list of who they wanted to invite and the list has 260 people on it and there are not that many people we can cut. 260! Definitely not what I had in mind.

Too many. My list is minimal. Moms list is minimal. FIL and FH's lists MAXED OUT!!! Don't even get me started.

Our list is not too big. Around 130 I think.

We arre inviting about 200 and expect to have about 180. We guarented the place 175.

Think about how much each person costs - price per person at place, extra centerpieces, a larger band, more favors, etc.

too many! gauranteed 225 will prob have around 230-240.. gotta love the big italian families!

We only have to promise the hall 100, but my family/coworkers/friends will be about 80 invites and FH's family is inviting around 70. I'm hoping (and wanted a much smaller wedding).

Our list is up to 270. My room at the hall only holds 240.

My guest list has 170 {20% say no right} so we hope 150 come.

Sooo I know they say 20% will probably not come...but my cousin invited 175 and 168 came.... I'm going by this because most of both of our BIG families will come!

WOW! I am so shocked at how many girls are inviting over 200!!! We currently have 180 on the list but that is not including FH's office & customers of his....We are anticipating approximately 175 at the wedding

Well mine is about 70 - FH is about 120 - so tops 190 - but he is gonna have to cut his list down cause I have never even met 60% of the people!

I want to be as close to our 150 minimum as possible (150 exactly would be ideal - haha)! I'm hoping the final guest list will be about 170.

(I cant believe how many of you have 200+ guests - wow! I'm sure if it was up to FMIL and FFIL they would invite 200+ themselves - their list keeps growing and GROWING)!

275-300 maybe more lol
which about 25-40 of that 300 is from italy and i know they are not going to come ..

I am inviting about 140, I am hoping no more than 120 show up.

it's funny- how many of us talk to all of these people on even a monthly basis- it's all the 'you have to invite so and so..' at least in my experience. I am learning to politely say no. it's just too much.

We are inviting 280, guarentee of 200...but hoping for 215-225. FH side is huge, his dad is one of 15 and mom is one of 8. We also have a large group of friends (all of which I am praying stay single so we don't have plus ones!)

We have to guarantee 165...at the Swan Club we are inviting about 180-190
