Knitters...dumb question
Can I take knitting needles (metal or plastic) on a plane with me? If they take them away I will be so sad....

Re: Knitters...dumb question
They won't allow them in carry-on luggage anymore. Give it a try though, the worst that could happen is they make you put them into your checked bags.

Re: Knitters...dumb question
I just flew to florida and they allow both plastic and metal needles. There is also a listing of what's allowed on the tsa.gov website.

Re: Knitters...dumb question
I wanted to take mine, but was worried, so I asked and the guy who checked my luggage, suggested that I not take them in carry on. I was really sad Tuesday night when I was delayed in the airport for 4 hours with nothing to do!
