E-party RSVP date is tomorrow and....

I cant believe how fast its coming... The party is less than a month away. We invited everyone who is invited to the wedding (naturally) which is 216 people... As of right now we have 138 attending. The RSVP date is tomorrow... We are waiting on one of my moms friends and one of mine. (who I cant seem to get in touch with) We are waiting on a handful of FH's families guests...hopefully they'll call by tomorrow.

We chose the menu the other night. Its a buffet and we had a choice of one in each 'category' We chose:

Penne Alla Vodka
Eggplant Parm.
Roasted chicked
Roasted potatoes
Corn
Mussels Marianara
and
Steak Pizzaola with pasta

Plus Fh mother is bringing her special sweetnsour meatballs and chicken fingers for the kids

It all comes with salad and an olive bar...so I think we'll have more than enough food

What do you guys think?

Ill have some penne and eggplant. Will there be grated cheese? I NEED grated cheese!

I was just going to ask the same thing, where will it be?

Mine is 5 weeks from tomorrow (april 23), sent out the invites last week, RSVP date is April 2. I have (so far) 1 no and 16 yes!!

Our guest list (incl us and OOT family) 99!! We have to guarantee 50, so we'll see!! My MOH said she thinks we'll have 70!

We are having it in all hall, but you must use there catering...Its a little more expensive than a usual VFW, because of the catering, a full waitstaff, matrie'd, real plates (where as usually you bring your own paper plates and stuff) But its also a little fancier.

It was a nice median between a reg hall and having it in a catering facility. FIL's are throwing it, so they really made the final decision.

Today was the rsvp date.... Out of 216 ....136 is our final count (something like that)

Trust me I know this is a massive amount of people....most of it is FH's family...

My family, my parents friends and all of me and FH's friends only added up to like 74 people...the rest is all his family... (62) of our 74 are attending.

FMIL didnt think it was fair to only invite some of the people who were inivited to the wedding to the e-party so she decided to invite all... It was perfectly fine with me...Im not paying for it....

How exciting!!!! It sounds yummy! Our e party is May 21st - I can't wait. We will be inviting everyone from the wedding as well it just made sense for us.
