i saw that someone on here did a bag with shower gels and bath salts and wrote something like from 'name's' shower to yours. I thought that sounded cute. I am considering doing that for my friends.

we just had one of my best friends showers and for favors we had, glass heart shaped bottles filled with bath salts, they were all different colors, they were closed with a cork and around the neck base was a ribbon that matched the color of the salts, everyone loved them!!!!

I saw a post yesterday - someone was looking for engagement ring cookie cutters. I thought that would make a cute shower favor.

That's what we did for mine. Another couple of cute idas is to get the coffee or tea bags that say 'A perfect blend' and put them in a mug from the dollar store. You could also order flower seeds and put them in a cute watering can. You could also use the watering cans to hold flowers at the actual shower.

I made these for less than $2.00 a piece for my friends bridal shower. They are votive roses. They were a huge hit because they doubled as centerpieces too!

Wine stoppers, photo albums, candles are the typical gifts. I would go with the theme (if any) of their wedding or something that everyone will use. Once I went to a bridal shower that the favor was a jeweled pen. It was very clever and I used it all the time. You could attach a note saying something like 'Use this pen to write a wish for the loving couple' and have a wish jar at the shower.

we gave out potted herbs. We actually named each table after a different herb.

for my shower (yes I am helping a little) we are doing heart shaped coffee scoops. Becaues not everyone drinks coffee, we are attaching M&Ms in pink and white to the coffee scoops

I like the idea of the m&m's , where did you find those?? I am helping with my FSIL shower and my FMIL was thinking of doing the scoops as well..
