How much time am I supposed to give guests to RSVP?
My RSVP date is 4/18/05 (wedding is 5/27/05) but I still haven't done my envelopes. How much time do I need to give my guests to think about the RSVP? Can I send out the invites 3/25/05? Is that too late? Please help! Thanks a million!

Re: How much time am I supposed to give guests to RSVP?
I don't think you need to give guests more than three weeks to RSVP. I am a teacher and when we give the students too much time to complete a project they tend to forget about it and leave it to the last minute....I think it's the same with RSVPs. As far as when the invitations should be sent out...if everyone that you want to be there knows when it is I think 8 weeks is sufficient time. Good Luck!

Re: How much time am I supposed to give guests to RSVP?
I'm hoping to send out my invites the first week of April or so. My RSVP date is May 15 for my July 3 wedding.ETA: MY RSVP is so early because I want to have enough time to do the votive placecards!
