Honeymoon a month later (repost BHB)

Hi all,

Because of work, FH and I are going on our honeymoon a month after the wedding, but we want to do something the weekend of the wedding. Any suggestions????

what about Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods?
Since its fall time, I have heard that Maine is very pretty during that time of year. They have many bed and breakfast places. My FIL's go every year. If you want some more details, FM me.

Or maybe go a little south like SC or VA??

how about a weekend getaway to charleston, SC? it is SO beautiful there!!!! the city is really charming, and you're right on the ocean. they have really nice bed and breakfasts, too... fh and i were just there for a medical residency interview, and we didn't want to leave!

if you want to stay local, how about one of the gorgeous inns in the hamptons?

or maybe the hudson valley? mohonk mountain house looks beautiful, and i bet you'd still have some nice fall foliage there (further north, like vermont or new hampshire or maine, i believe the leaves are already gone by mid-november...).

Martha's Vinyard, Poconos. Go to a spa. Is there any type of thing you guys would like to do?

Newport, Rhode Island. They have tons of Bed And Breakfasts, and the drive isn't as far as some of the other suggestions.
