Bridal Bouquet - Color Flowers or all white/off white?

How does everyone feel about the bride having a colored bouquet as opposed to an all white, traditional one? I am so torn...

Re: Bridal Bouquet - Color Flowers or all white/off white?

My bouquet is mainly color flowers with a little bit of white. IMO, if you use white/offwhite flowers against a white/offwhite dress, it is harder to see the flowers.

My MOH's bouquet will be mainly white with a few color flowers, which I think will show up nicely in contrast to her dress.

I wanted a fall colored bo-k but the florist talked me into having ivory roses mixed in and it looked really nice.

Re: Bridal Bouquet - Color Flowers or all white/off white?

I wanted contrast. My mom's bouquet had white roses and in the middle she had a circle of red roses in a heart shape (this was 29 years ago). She said her florist reccommended putting color in it so the flowers stand out because the white flowers can just blend in with the white dress.

Re: Bridal Bouquet - Color Flowers or all white/off white?

I say color because I want it to stand out against the dress. I think white or ivory would blend in with the dress in pictures.

Re: Bridal Bouquet - Color Flowers or all white/off white?

When I was looking at photographers I often noticed a bride's colorful bouquet before noticing HER in the pictures. Personally, I think the bride should be the focus and not the flowers, so for that reason, I prefer the white/cream bouquets. But hey, everyone is different!

I am a matching freak...I need to have everything the same...so the flowers that are in my BMs Bo'ks will be the same flowers/colors in mine.
