Re: When did you realize it was time for you to move out of your parents house?

I wish it could've been last May, but my parents are allowing me to live here rent-free until I'm married- lots of time to save for the wedding and a home!

Re: When did you realize it was time for you to move out of your parents house?

I realized it as soon as I moved back in after college, but I was ( and still am) a full time grad student with no income, so moving out wasn't an option until I got married.

Re: When did you realize it was time for you to move out of your parents house?

I couldn't wait to move out of my parents house when I was younger.. I would have done so the day after I graduated HS if I could, but I waited a little while longer for financial reasons

I didn't go away to college, so I stayed at home for a few years... I moved out mid-way through college and moved right in with my ex.. In retrospect not the best idea, but I did love gaining my independence and don't think I could've stayed at home any longer (VERY strict , Italian Catholic parents will do that do ya )

oh and after the reception when one limo driver took me and my husband in one limo and another took our parents...then i kind of had an inkling.

Re: When did you realize it was time for you to move out of your parents house?

I wanted to move out as soon as I hit my teen years I think! I did NOT get along with my parents at all.
But I finally got out of there when I graduated High School. I moved in with my sister and her then husband.

Re: When did you realize it was time for you to move out of your parents house?

i moved out of my mom's house at 15. She had just moved in with her 'latest' bf, which is now her husband and I wanted no part of it. Anyways stayed with my grandmother til I left for college and moved back after two years away. Fh had moved back to NJ and I decided to take the chance, so we both ended up moving in with grandmother for like a year and then finally got our own place.
