Today might be the day that I quit my JOB

I hate it here...the principal hates me and is always trying to catch me doing something wrong...so I have another meeting again with her today...once every few weeks I am in trouble for something or other...I may say..screw this place

Aww Im sorry to hear that its that bad, but I guess I can relate because I cant wait to quit mine. Good luck with the meeting. Dont you sometimes just wish they'd let u go rather than make u suffer??

Perhaps you can talk to you union rep and find a way to ask for a transfer.

You can't transfer until you have been here for 2 years (or in the system)

I had the meeting it was bad...didn't quit..but it was a disciplinary meeting Really serious and I will probably get a letter in my file..I was told shape up or ship out..in not some many words I am soooo unhappy here

That sounds like my school 2-3 years ago. My principal was always looking to catch you with something....

That is horrible. Last year, my principal offered an S rating to a teacher if he agreed to leave (if he stayed, she was going to give him a U rating). Maybe she'll do that for you and you can leave the school and put her behind you.

Where in Brooklyn do you teach?

There are plently of places you can get another job. Put out resumes and see what happens....you never know something better may com along!

I mean I outright said do you want me to quit since I am so horrible..and my UFT was NO HELP AT ALL! She is all buddy buddy with the principal...but we won't get into that

A friend from my school is going through the same thing right now...remember it is NOT the end of the world....It is just a job, you can find another one!
SO clique but, once one door closer another will open ....so if you want this one to close....dont worry...it will work it for you!
