Silk Tulle Veil question
For anyone that has had or is having a veil of the really delicate silk tulle, are you having a blusher? That material is very drapey and not poofy, so I am wondering how a blusher would look. Thanks!

Re: Silk Tulle Veil question
I was told not to use a blusher unless I use the stiffer tulle ( crowning glory I believe). Below is a copy of part of my correspondence with sewdeb.
"The Hansson's silk tulle is extemely soft and delicate and 100% limp. It drapey straight down naturally. The Crowning Glory silk tulle, is just the opposite. It has alot of body-is much more coarse and a bit stiff-even more so than the polyester bridal illusion (fine net) that you see in the veils at the salons and online."
Then I asked her, " If I ordered the Hansson’s silk would the blusher fall on may face? I’m worried about it being too limp and that my makeup will be all over the veil. Do you know if this should be a concern with the veil? "
"The Hansson's silk tulle is most often worn without a blusher, but is sometimes work in a cage style, as in #23-yes, she is wearing Hansson's and she has it "spread out" in her pic and I spread it out on the dress form. It typically drapes straight down (I have had bride's describe it as "hanging like a sock"). Numbers 12, 13 and 14 and 16 are also of the Hansson's tulle as well as #'s 2 and 3. The Crowning Glory silk tulle (much more body and more coarse/stiff) is seen in #'s 5 and 6. Polyester Bridal Illusion is used in 's 1, 7, 9, 15, 21, 24, 25 through 28."

Re: Silk Tulle Veil question
Thank you! I LOVE the look of the silk veils using Hannson's, but I had a feeling it might be too drapey for a blusher. Maybe I'll get a sample from Crowning Glory....
