The earlier you book the cheaper the airfare will be.

We booked ours in Jan and we got married in Nov. We wanted to book earlier but we had to wait for '04 schedules to come out

8 months - we wanted OTW huts in Tahiti, we were afraid they'd book up, which they did shortly after we booked.

We are booking our airfare by the end of this month...our wedding is in October, so about 7 months beforehand.

We booked ours in January for the beginning of August. We were still able to get the 2004 rates, which was great.

We booked 6 months in advance.

General rule is: lots of time ahead = cheap.
Couple of months ahead = check daily because prices fluctuate A LOT (sometimes really expensive, sometimes not for the same package).
Almost no time ahead = cheap.

depends where you are going. We're going to Italy during what is considered the 'nicest' time to go, so we booked 1 year in advance. Also, some of the hotels we called then already had no availability.

If you're going to the Caribbean, you can definately wait longer.

We are planning a Disney for 4 days and Aruba for a week honeymoon. My Fh needs to stop somewhere to break up the flight..hes not so good with flying. But I have never been to Aruba before and I didnt know how far in advance they need to be booked. Thanks for the tips!
