Questions for Milleridge Cottage ladies

I love the cocktail area and it kills me not to be able to get more use out of it. Anyone figure out a way to incorporate that area into more than just an hour of the reception?

Also, my FH wasn't really thrilled with the menu since he has seen ones from other places with crazy amounts of choices and stations. Anyone been able to make lots of changes to the menu? How was that received at the Milleridge? Were you able to switch these around without adding a lot of money to your bill?

And was anyone able to negotiate your price?

Thanks!

Re: Questions for Milleridge Cottage ladies

Ask your BM about other stations and selections you can have during your CH. They have a lot of other things to offer, it's just not explained in their usual material -- just ask about any specific things you want. Same thing with the dinner menu -- some things may be more expensive, but there are lots of substitutions available.

I love the CH room, too. I plan to just leave the doors open between the room so that the big room gets more light. We're having a chocolate fountain and our BM said that we could put that in the CH room, if we wanted.

good luck!
