Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

Or has he done something really funny in his sleep??

Lately DH has a habit of 'eating' in his sleep!! He smacks his lips together or something... makes chewing noises and it's so annoying!!!

On time he kicked me into the wall!

And once he *almost* elbowed me in the face as I was trying to wake him up sweetly with a kiss on the cheek!

Re: Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

My Dh has developed this strange habbit of roling himself up in the blankets like a taco. This only started like a month ago. I find it pretty strange. He used to be a violent sleeper but he has calmed down over the years, thank god.

Re: Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

DH grinds his teeth and occassionally talks jibberish in his sleep. The talking I can deal with but the grinding has been the cause of many sleepless nights

Re: Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

I have to admit being the one with th ebad sleeping habits...
I steal the covers (all of them)
I chew in my sleep
I grind my teeth
I move around a lot
I moan in my sleep (yes, it is as funny as it sounds...but has nothing to do with anything intimate)

He talks in his sleep.....and snores once in a while....but nothing really terrible

Re: Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

Well the question would be what NORMAL things does DH does in his sleep ... because NONE of his sleeping patters are normal

He has to burrow himself under covers , putting pillows ON his head, over his face...says its 'cozy' that way

he sleeps diagonally (not the best move in our queen sized bed).. and always jabs me in my stomach with his knee I told him when I'm preggo someday that this behaviour will HAVE to cease!!

he passes gas while sleeping but denies it..

He starts laughing, sometimes HYSTERICALLY, and saying 'um yeah, right, uh huh.. (yes I wonder wha tthe dream is about too) .. but then just as abruptly goes silent and into slumberland again

Oh yeah, the snoring is earth shattering too .. it even scares the cat!

Re: Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

He often 'wakes up', but isn't really awake. His eyes will open and he'll even go as far as having a small conversation with me, but when he instantly passes back out (especially when it's mid-conversation) and he doesn't remember a single thing the following morning, I know he wasn't really awake.

ETA: He's also the WORST at stealing covers. It's horrible.

Re: Snoring spin-off: Does your DH do other weird things in his sleep?

My husband on occasion has done the smacking of the lips too.

But actually, I'm the one who does wierd things in my sleep. Talking, snoring, jumping out of bed because I dreamed an imaginary bug was on me, etc.

Once morning I was dreaming of bopping him in the nose in my sleep, and I woke up hovering my fist over his nose. His eyes popped open just as mine did...it was pretty funny!

This happened to me this morning!

Dh works nights and I kissed him good-bye on his cheek, he must have thought it was something on his face and drew his hand so fast to his face to wipe it and hit me

He woke up and was like what happened? I said I kissed you and you hit me

He talks in his sleep and he denies it! I tell him the next morning that he was talking in his sleep and he tells me that I must've dreamt it
I said 'No, I didn't dream it - last night you propped yourself up on your elbow and leaned over me and stroked my hair and said 'Bama'!

Bama is the dog

I also talk in my sleep and walk in my sleep too

my mother says my father does this- or used to at least. They think it was a form of talking in your sleep,. a few times when she called him on it, he remembered that he was having a crazy dream ( like being chased up a ladder by a lion???) so, I guess in the dream he was yelling & it came out like a moan.

Dh snores, farts and once punched at the air in his sleep.

I steal the covers and sometimes giggle in my sleep.
