Re: PIC--- ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT NATIONALITY THEIR PET IS??

Well, if you are what you eat, then my dog wants to be Chinese, Japanese, Indian and American (so he can get a ham sandwich). He had a peanut butter Kong today, what does that make him?

Its not bad for them - you just need to know what is. Plus its not like they are sitting down to a 4 course meal although I'm sure they'd love it.....I know my dog would.

Cosmo only gets peanut butter (his fave), chicken, meat, cheese and its all in moderation and usually as a treat.

ETA that when we brought him for training the trainer actually told us to bring human food (cheese, steak, hot dogs) to encourage them.

RedHead, I thought the same thing, but our vet said that human food as table scraps is what's bad for your dog. Our trainer also told us to bring bits of hot dogs, cheese, chicken, etc. as treats to entice them to pay attention during a chaotic training class -they're less likely to ignore you if you're offering something they've NEVER eaten as a reward! Golem only gets peanut butter every one in a while, it's a MAJOR treat for him -and that's the only people food we've given him. I would never feed Golem the food we eat as a meal.

Re: PIC--- ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT NATIONALITY THEIR PET IS??

I don't really let Oscar eat stuff like Indian food and sushi. I was joking about it b/c he goes crazy for the smell when I have it. He does get some people food, but it's very limited and it's usually something that I mix in when I stuff his Kong.

huh? I thought the question meant 'Where is your breed from?'

Pastina eats dog food, carrots, and miniscule pieces of stuff if it falls on the floor and she grabs it
