I am finally doing it! I am changing my last name!

For the past 6 months I have been putting off changing my last name. But I am starting the process.

I found out some horrible news on Tuesday which made me realize it is time for me to shed my maiden name and take on my new married name.

I'm so sorry that this was spurred by horrible news...

But congrats!

I wish something would (gently and happily) kick my rear into gear and cause me to change my name 'officially'....I can barely remember which name I use for which situation.

I just did it at the DMV friday! Waiting for my license now.
The best was at the bank. I am a big nerd & love having checks wit both of us with the same last name on it now.

I'm going next week. I got pulled over today and have my maiden name on my license and new name on my 'Get out of Jail Free card' The Officer was a little confused. I said 'you should know how I feel'
