Sandals resorts: St.Lucia, Bahamas, Antigua

I don't know what to do. I always wanted to go to Sandals St.Lucia for my honeymoon but I am so scared to fly. So FI and I figured we would go to Sandals Bahamas because Bahamas is closer. I figured I wouldn't have to be on the plane that long. What do you think? Has anyone been to Sandals Bahamas. I have never been anywhere. So if there is beautiful beaches I'm happy. I still have time for my honeymoon but it's been on my mind.

I picked St. Lucia -- it looks so beautiful! I couldn't go to the Bahamas because I wanted somewhere HOT, and I'm getting married in February, and I heard it's not hot enough for beach weather....

You'll be fine in June though!! I'd talk to to John at MAS travel....he's like a Sandals expert and will give you lots of info!!

My parents went to Sandals St. Lucia, they said it was georgous however they were not impressed with the water. It is not clear and blue. They said it was brownish color and because of that would no go back to St. lucia.

I'm also thinking about Sandals in Bahamas. FH hates to fly too.

I booked Sandals Bahamas and one of the reasons was the shorter flight, also the gambling! I have heard a lot of great things about the place and I already am a fan of the Bahamas so I think it is a great choice. Plus flights to Bahamas tend to be cheaper so you can put that money somewhere else!

99% sure we going to Sandals Grand Bahamian. SOOOOO excited!!!!! (This honeymoon planning has been so stressful!)

I talked to John from MAS travel and he said that the beaches are not as nice as Bahama's, Jamaica or Antigua's. Apparently St Lucia is a volcanic island so the beaches are rocky and the water is not clear blue. If the beach is not a big deal for you then go for it but if your really concered about the beaches look into other sandals resort on diffrent islands.

P.s the flight to Jamaica is not that long if you get a direct flight.

We plan on going to Sandals Bahamas. My friend went their May 04 for her honeymoon and had the best time. We can't wait.

I don't mean to sound rude so please don't think that... But what's the difference? If you're already flying why not go to St. Lucia? It's not that much further from the Bahamas. You only get one HM go to the place of your dreams!!

I would think the diffrence is she is scared to fly..the less time in the air the better....just my take on it.

Your right. If I'm in the air already just deal with it. But I would rather just get on and get off. I really hate it.

I'm still undecided on where to choose for our HM.

I went to St. Lucia.. It was unbelievable... Seriously take some sleeping pills.. it is sooooo worth it!

Me and FH wanted our own little private huts with our own pool or jacuzzi, so we decided to go with Antigua which we heard is very beautiful and very relaxing. the beaches are amazing there too.
