If you are wearing Open Toe Shoes for your wedding....

I really don't like wearing stockings with open toe shoes but with everything that we are wearing under our dresses and when one starts dancing....doesn't it get too hot? I saw a post long time ago about stockings that don't include the feet part...where can I get those? Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

I plan on wearing open toe shoes and no stockings. I have never heard of stockings with the feet cut out.

I plan on wearing open toe shoes, but no stockings.. BUT.. I did wear those 'open toe' stockings to a wedding once.. they were awesome! Kinda felt wierd at first, like wearing a flip flop in between your toes, but you get used to it.. I think I got mine at Target

Can you see the stocking though? Or in the back of the feet as well?

Re: If you are wearing Open Toe Shoes for your wedding....

I have open toed shoes but I’m not wearing stockings. I figure I'll be tan enough to go w/o by then.

The stockings you can get are toeless and I got them at Macy's last year. I actually found a pair in TJ Max too.
They are like thongs for your feet.

Thanks so much for posting these. I never wear stockings with open toe shoes but when I went for my first fitting, I thought about this. Even though for my second fitting, it felt comfortable, I was thinking when you start dancing.......

I've seen those types of stockings in Target - I think they're made by Hanes.

I also think Spanx makes a footless stocking. I've seen that brand in most dept stores. But the Hanes are probably cheaper! :)

Took the words right out of my mouth. Do a google search on spanx. That's what I plan to wear so my feet and ankles are bare.

Open toe, no stockings.

But if you want stocking to not show, Norstrom has Spanx in all different varieties.

Re: If you are wearing Open Toe Shoes for your wedding....

I have worn the open toe stockings and they were amazing. If you wear some sort of sandal type pf shoe, the straps that go across the toe are hidden. Noone can tell. DKNY makes them too. They don't tear.

Re: If you are wearing Open Toe Shoes for your wedding....

I wore the open toes ones and they were fine. I feel more comfortable in stockings when wearing a long dress. Its really a personal preference.

Re: If you are wearing Open Toe Shoes for your wedding....

I've wore the feet-less stockings that I got them at Victoria's Secret. They stopped right below my knee. I loved them.
I think it really depends on your dress. If you have crinoline it might be uncomfortable against your skin.

I wore thigh high fish-nets at my wedding.

I wore open toe and no stocking. I wore lacy boy shorts under my dress which worked great!

Re: If you are wearing Open Toe Shoes for your wedding....

I am wearing open toe shoes, strappy sandals to be exact. I told my mother that I did not plan to wear stockings and she went nuts! I don't think it will look right, but I'm still deciding...but I really don't want to.
