I called him and I didn't like what he said,so I never went to see him. I did a search on his name and saw nothing but bad things about him. I heard his work is very good but, his personality is not so good.

He does interesting work. He is also VERY expensive. He shot my friends wedding and while I thought some of the pictures were very beautiful and original, he also missed some important shots. For example, there are very few (3) pictures of the entire bridal party. None of bride&bridesmaids. Two brides that I can remember on her who used Marc Kauffman are Mv1003 & Fletch. See what their reviews have to say.

I used a VERY Traditional photographer and although my pics may have been a bit 'boring' he did capture the important elements of the day.

It just depends on what you want

I called him for my wedding and I had to cancel the appointment and I told him I would call him back. He was almost insistant that I leave a refundable deposit to hold my date. I told him I would call him back. He (his office) called and called and called... I finally was home to answer the phone and I told her I decided to go elsewhere. Even after that they called maybe 3 times!!!! WAY too much pressure!!!

A friend of mine will be using one of his photographers for her wedding. She was turned off by him but liked one of his associates. She has been disgusted with the office so far. I have heard wonderful things though about his photography.

I know someone that used to work for him. Says that he does beautiful work but has no people skills.

when we went looking at a reception hall we were considering...she (banquet manager) told us she didn't allow him on the premises!!!! he's not allowed to even be your photographer if you have your reception at this place!
