Picture Perfect

Where is a great place to take pictures? I know alot of places, like the mansions charge a fee. What do you guys recommend?

Depends on where you want to travel. I know that in Suffolk County lots of people thake their pics at the Brookhaven Ecology Site cause they have lots of flowers around. Where would you like to travel to?

i've seen these recommended the most:
westbury gardens (charges a fee)
vanderbilt mansion (i think charges a fee)
bayard cutting arboretum (be careful of the geese poop)
planting fields arboretum (charges a fee)

You will be at Crest Hollow so the Planting Fields Arboretum is semi-close....Syosset-Woodbury community park is pretty...not crazy beautiful but it's right down the road. I wonder if you could go onto the Oheka castle grounds....that is really close by as well...If you want some water views the village of cold spring harbor is pretty close.....The planting fields arboretum would definitely be my first choice it is just beautiful! I live in the area so let me know if there is any other advice I can give you...
