A good week so far...
-called in sick yesterday and got lotsa errands done.
-had a Snickers for breakfast
-found $10 bill in in pocket of my jacket
-saw SHG in the hallway and he was looking super hot in royal blue!
Now if onlt there was a monkey or some cake involved in this week!

Forgot to tell you that the wedding we were at on Saturday was on a little island in the middle of the Thames called MONKEY ISLAND!!!! Seriously! This is a pic of the ceiling in one of the lounges

My god, it's not like it was a leisure suit! It was a dress shirt, maybe it was cobalt blue? That really deep blue... whatever he looked good! And he has purty eyes!
Farah, there's a Monkey Island in the Thames? Why was I not informed of this sooner? Who's wedding? Was it the Monkey King's wedding? Did he pick a monkey-courtier from his troop of monkey-subjects? Will they rule the world now? Was the wedding cake banana creme pie? I bet it was. Monkeys are so predictable.

I LOLd at this! Every makeup person I tried for the wedding said, "This color really makes your eyes POP!!!!!"
OK, DH has the really blue dress shirts too so I know what you are talking about now. They do look really purdy with blue eyes.

SHGs are allowed to be Metro on a daily basis... because you don't have to deal with their actual obsessive grooming habits.
Mr Boots is aggressively metro when he's dressing up for special occassions, but if he was like that all the time I might punch him. A lot.

Liz, just be thankful that the powers that be sent you SHG to make up for the fact that you've got SLIDER!!!
BTW...I must've totally missed the SHG story...I'll need an update!
Monkey Island is a tiny little island with a hotel and a catering hall on it...too bad you don't live here, we KNOW where you'd have your wedding!! It was most likely named for the fact that monks used to use it for their fisheries (monks? fisheries?  )...see what you learn from the informational history pamphlet you pick up in the hotel lobby. (it was Seb's friend's wedding and the cake was just plain old yucky English fruit cake that you can't GIVE away in America!!!  )
