How much to give as gift if you are in the bridal party
Normally I would give enough to cover the plates for me and FI - how much if it is for someone whose Bridal Party I am in?

When I was in my best friend's BP 2 years ago, I gave her $300.

Re: How much to give as gift if you are in the bridal party
Honestly it really depends how close you are to the person & how long that you have known them. I am in a bridal party the end of the month & have known the bride since the 4th grade--and even though she has lived in FL since 8th grade we have been really close over the years. I am giving her $500 but that is what I want to give--b/c she is like a sister to me. me & FH decided different schedules for different types of friends/acquaintences.

Re: How much to give as gift if you are in the bridal party
I would say somewhere in the range of $300-500 depending on how close you are and how much you are financially able to give.

Re: How much to give as gift if you are in the bridal party
I gave my friend $400 when I was in her wedding and she gave me the same when I got married. I am in my cousins wedding in May and we are giving them probably $150. They gave us $100 and we both traveled from out of state and are/were in each others wedding. Give what ever you are comfortable with and can afford.

Re: How much to give as gift if you are in the bridal party
I would give the same as I would to any other friend. I would be flattered that I was asked to be in the wedding party, but I already had to lay out a good amount of money paying for my dress, shoes, etc., airfare or travel expenses and chipping in for the shower and possibly bachelorette party. In some cases, I have given less, because I couldn't afford to be in the wedding and give a gift.Welcome New Vendors
