Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

I have a few questions... I need to get some advice on which place is liked better by most.
Both places are beautiful but offer a different feeling..
Which place has better food?? From my first glance at the general set of food they provide, North Ritz seemed to have more upscale Hor de erves.

Anyhow, if anyone who has been to a wedding at these places or had a wedding there and would like to comment on the plus's and minus's of each place, i'd greatly appreciate it..

Re: Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

I cant compare the two because i have only been to a wedding a the North Ritz (my own! ) but the food was truly great and i had seriously ALL my guests saying it was the best food they had ever tasted.

We actually booked the North Ritz when we saw it and cancelled our appointment to see Fox Hollow.

There is an Official North Ritz Club thread on here so do a search. There are great opinions on it.

Re: Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

I've been to both, and personally, I like North Ritz better.

I found the cocktail nicer and the room bigger and brighter.

The one thing that really stands out from the Fox Hollow which I didn't like was toward the end of the cocktail hour the servers came to the tables with the bus-boxes to clear the tables... never!

Re: Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

NRC is one wedding at a time which is a big factor for some people and not so big a factor for others. (for me, it meant a lot)

My wedding at NRC was absolutely amazing with not a single flaw.

I don't think you can really go wrong with either place, though!

Re: Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

Everyone is going to say their own hall of course. But I think NRC has a little bit more of an upscale feel, and in terms of food I've never really heard one bad thing, Plus it's one wedding at a time, which is just a HUGE plus. I loved the idea of having the whole place to myself. You can put your own phtoos on the table or counter in the lobby, you can take as many photos as you want, and there's just no confusion.

I think the main factor is going to be price. I think NRC is worth the money, but if you don't want to spend that much, then Fox Hollow is still a beautiful place with a great reputation.

Re: Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

I was married at the North Ritz almost 3 years ago, and it has only gotten better since then. I loved the fact that I was the only bride there. The food was excellent and it's just a more modern upscale-looking place. However, I don't want all the Fox Hollow Brides to come and bash me...this is JMO!!!

Re: Fox Hollow vs. North Ritz club

I have never been to NRC, only Fox Hollow but just going by all of the pictures I have seen, I would say NRC. I'm sorry I never checked it out when I was looking for places!

as a fh bride i would say that both places have such a different feel to them i dont think you can really compare unless you are set on one wedding at a time.

Ditto.

THe 'old english charm' is what we LOVED aout Fox Hollow.. we didn't want a 'MODERN' hall, we like the classic look of the wood etc.. it was more romantic and quaint, IMO.

and the FOOD is EXCELLENT and plentyful.

and I love how the FHI is right next door, so we don't need limos! and I get to go swimming in the mornign
