Tan-Through Bathing Suits

Anyone know where I can get tan-through bathing suits? I don't want to take any chances for tan lines with the wedding! I think J.Crew has them, but I am not sure...

TIA!!

They are bathing suits that are made of some type of material that prevents you from getting tan lines...

FH's family has a beach house and we spend a lot of time there during the summer, so I want to avoid getting tan lines!

I guess you were thinking of going 'bare' in a tanning booth, but I am talking about for public use! I don't think FH's family would be too crazy about me lying around naked in front of them!

Re: Tan-Through Bathing Suits

I ordered one from lifestylesdirect.com last year and I returned it almost as soon as I got it - it was that hideous. I ordered the smallest size and it still was big and droopy. There wasn't any elastic in the bottom around the legs (I guess the rays can't penetrate it) and the top was pretty much the same thing (no support). The material is also very thin - almost like a netting of sorts more than typical bathing suit material.
The patterns are generally very loud and colorful basically to help camouflage. and they look worse in person than they do in the catalogue (very cheap looking).
Also, you need to wear a sunscreen that is the same SPF that the particular suit is. The suit isn't totally tan through, but you will get color through it, so remember to put sunscreen on the parts that never usually see the sun
