Are you doing anything special for FH the day of the wedding?

I was thinking...since we are not having limos to have him picked up in a limo to go the wedding...with some a rose inside the limo w/ a card or something. We can not afford much, but I want to do something special for him...and this way he does not have to drive himself. What do you think?

I would definitely like to, but I haven't given it much thought. Truthfully, I've only thought about things that I want him to do for me. I'm bad.

I would like to get him a really good gift -- like a Layzboy, as marymoon suggested on another thread. I would definitely like to hear other people's ideas too.

I wasn't planning on much, maybe just a card and a love not left for him the morning of the wedding. Or maybe a pair of cufflink he can wear that day.

sheesh...I thought giving him my endless love and undying devotion in front of all of our friends and family was enough!!!

seriously though- I would love to, but I know funds will be tight. I will probably send him a card...or just a little love note.

actually when we first started dating and I would help him type his papers, we each worked a different shift at work (me days, him evenings) so we would leave each other notes in the type writer since we wouldn't be able to spend any time together...

long story short...maybe I'll do something like that- remind him of the old days...

i definitley want to get fh a gift to open on the day of the wedding, but i dont know what yet.
i saw on a tv show that a fiancee sent her fiance a love not for seven days leading up to the wedding :)

Probably a love note. Money will definitely be tight, so it won't be anything extravagant.

On a sidenote, on TLC's wedding story, a bride had a crush on the groom since she was 12, and finally 'got him' in high school. Her gift to him on the wedding day was a page out of her diary from when she was 12 framed. The page was all about the crush she had on the groom and how her new year's resolution was to get him. It was so cute!

I'm kinda thinking that him spending the rest of his life with me would be enough, but we'll see. I'll prob do the love note thing, but then he'll feel really bad if I do that and he doesn't do anything. Hmm, maybe I should hint that he should do something for me too. Oh well, we've got SOO much time to worry about that.
