So I tried wearing 'spring colors' today...

My eyes are light green, so I thought that a toned-down lime green would look OK on me...

I'm wearing this tee

and I added a denim jacket, and have some tan cropped pants on, but let me tell you---- I FEEL LIKE AN EASTER EGG!

I ALWAYS wear blacks/greys/browns - I'm a very neutral dresser, and my family always has something to say.

Seriously, for those fashionistas on the LIW boards - how do I NOT feel like an Easter egg in bright colors?

Your pants are tan & cropped? that in itself is Springy & while it probably looks nice with he green tee, the combo definitely says Spring, whihc may may you feel a little too center of attenion-y.

Instead, try the tee with brown full length pants.

LOL I agree! I am starting with grey pants, mules, and a white button down. Baby steps. Should have seen what I was wearing before.

Im a nutreul person also, and it kills me when I try to add color to my wardrobe there is always someone who makes a comment. Red is the color that gives me a hard time.
