Wedding Salon Of Manhasset

Has anyone used this bridal store and if so what was there experience? I have an appt with them for this weekend.

I am using them for my gown and for the bridesmaids' dresses. I ordered my wedding gown in November and it came in several months ago. I already had my first fitting and the BM dresses are in as well. Several of my friends have used them too. So far, they have been really professional and they seem to really know what they are doing (I believe one of the owners used to manage Kleinfelds). But the biggest plus to using this store is their absolutely drop-dead gorgeous selection of gowns - and I'm not just saying that because I bought my gown there. They really do, and they carry designers that are either hard to find or that you have to travel into the city or to Kleinfelds for. Some gowns were very pricey and way out of my budget, others were very reasonable. So definitely check it out - they have a large selection. The only thing I am worried about as of now is my headpiece, which is still not in and I ordered it in November. They assured me the end of April, which is this week, so we'll see (I need the headpiece for my hair trial).

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They beat the price Kleinfelds was offering me. My original seamstress has left the store, but she did an amazing job on my alterations. I am picking up my gown this week!!!

Wow this is great to know as my mom lives close by in Roslyn and it would be so much more convenient to go to Manhasset as opposed to Brooklyn. Do they have a lot of seating for an entourage? I have a couple of sisters and friends who I know will want to join us! OH JOY! Just what I always wanted.

i bought my dress there too...there's plenty of room --i brought my mom, two sisters, two of my friends and my two nieces!

Also got my dress there and they were really friendly and refreshingly NOT pushy - the place is really pretty too - and definitely has room. :)

it is a beautiful place... i wish i bought my dress there but instead got it from klienfelds.. its soooo far!

i did however, not like the woman who helped me very much.... if i remember her name i will let you know
