I don't know if there's much to ask. I plan on handing over my completed forms and all the items I'm giving to the hall. I guess it's mostly for reviewing your expectations to make sure that the hall understands what you expect.

I just gave lists with specific instructions on how I wanted everything. Afraid no one would even read it I went over it with 2 different BM managers just in case

How and where I wanted my menus, what to do with the slipper basket, how to set up my favors ( I had a few different favors and they all had different instructions)
I told them that I wanted some of the CH food ready and in the bridal suite at 4pm even though the CH didn't start till 6. We were not stopping anywhere for pictures and I knew my BP would be hungry and could get eat inbetween picture taking or while I took pics with DH.
Im am sure there is more but I can't remember right now

If you have any special requests for liquor you should go over that. We had special wine and beer that the reception hall normally doesn't serve written into our contract. I would also ask when you can bring the toasting flutes, cake servers, etc.

Any other tips? I'll be doing this soon too!

Thanks girls.... here's a couple questions that I heard of to ask:

-Will the waiters be taking drink orders?
-Policy on people ordering seconds
-Food wrapped up to take to hotel

Is there a specail enterance for deliveries?
When can you drop off favors and place cards?
When can the DJ arrive for set up?
Who should you call day of if there is a problem? (Who should vendors call?)
Who will be served first? Last?

Also -- will you bring a special box for the top of your cake? If so, know who to give it do.

When will the vendors eat?
Where will they sit?

do you have a picture of the slipper basket? that's a great idea - my friend saw a post with pictures a while ago... I would be really interested to see an example but I missed the post!
