Fun with PG hormones... please share

So jcndd's thread inspired this... What is the silliest thing you've cried over or that made you cry while PG?

What is the most bitchy or airheaded thing you've said while PG??

I've got a few:

One day DH came home late from work and though we usually eat dinner together we knew we wouldn't be able to that night because he would be working late. So he picked up Wendy's for himself on his way home but he never called to ask me if I wanted anything, which he didn't have to since I had already eaten.

Still, when he came home with that bag of Wendy's and I knew there was nothing in there for me, I had to run into the bathroom so DH wouldn't see the tears streaming down my cheeks! I just instantly started crying!

Then, the other day, I was having a heated discussion with my boss over deadlines and I actually said 'Yeah so?? I get pregnant and suddenly YOU have deadlines?' He threw his hands up, turned around, and walked out of my office.

Hmmmm, I haven't really had the emotional part of it (for some reason being pregnant has TOTALLY stabilized my emotions!), but I've had SO many preggo moments. Today, I was eating yogurt - I went to throw out the yogurt, and as DH stood there watching, I opened up the garbage can, threw away the spoon, and put the empty yogurt container in the sink!

That is totally me!

I have to say, the most insane thing I've cried over since I've been pregnant is on the day Iraq held their first elections a few months ago. Some DJ on Q104 dedicated 'Keep on Rockin' in the Free World' to the Iraqi people on my way to work in the morning. I was just bawling the whole time thinking of the bravery of the people. Neil Young!! That's the point I realized the hormones were just out of control!

Re: Fun with PG hormones... please share

I did so many crazy things with my first pregnancy. I think the worst was there was this book 'daddy and me' or something like that and I couldn't even read a single paragraph b/c I was bawling in the middle of the bookstore.

I must have been sobbing loudly b/c a salesperson came up to me and asked me if I was ok.

I still cry at everything - the PG hormones just never went away LOL

Re: Fun with PG hormones... please share

I've always been pretty emotional so I haven't really felt like it has made me more emotional.

But for me the hormones have caused a tremendous amount of anxiety. Some of which I am sure is normal with pregnancy but there were times the anxieties were very irrational. I'll be fine and then it will hit me out of no where and I'll be in a panic. It hasn't been easy.

What a great post!

Most emotional thing was throwing a book at my DH (it was the baby bargains book!). He said he would buy the nursery furniture and I just wanted to make sure he researched it first

The dumbest thing I've said 'so far' is asking my husband if he had the keys to the car while we we already driving!

Re: Fun with PG hormones... please share

Oh this is too funny

When I was pg I was hungry but didn't know what I wanted so I was taking bites of things and just snacking on 50,000 different things in the house and I just flipped on FH saying I am gonna get so sick cuz I am eating all of this junk I don't know what I want.

Then within minutes I sat on the couch and just started crying FH was like whats the matter hon I just looked at him and said I want a sourcream and chive baked potatoe from wendy's.
