Getting a little discouraged about makeup

3 makeup vendors who I have contacted are already booked on my wedding day.

I just got off the phone with another makeup vendor and she wanted $150 for the day of with a minimum of 3 other people getting their makeup done, at $75 each!! I can't ask my BP to pay $75 for their makeup! I don't even know if they will want it done.

Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Re: Getting a little discouraged about makeup

Have you tried going to a local MAC store for trials??? I think the trial is free as long as you buy something. My friend works there and says shes gets TUNS of brides that come in for trials and book girls that work there! They are not specific ' wedding' makeup artists so they are much more reasonable $$ wise and have just as much experiance. I would just bring a picture of the look you are going for!

I LOVE MAC makeup! I never even considered that option since I am worried about some random woman from a Macy's makeup counter not showing up

But a recommendation to your friend would be great! feel free to FM me.

Thanks
