Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

Hi girls,
I stayed in Maui and kaui. THey were both awesome, but I LOVED Maui. Maui was beautiful, fun, relaxing, god, everything. We stayed at the four seasons and it was unbelievable. The sunset cruises are amazing. The sunrise bike tour was awesome, and the restaurants are equally as good.

Kaui was really nice..the hyatt was really cool. The pool there was insane, but it had alot of kids. We did the helicopter tour which freaked me out but was worth it!

Anyways, hope this helps! Enjoy!

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

We did Oahu Maui and Kaui. We loved Maui. Kaui was amazing but Maui had more to do. LOVED Hawaii. We stayed at all Hyatts. We loved them also. They were close to all the stuff we wanted to do and had lots of people our age group. Plus we got a discount for staying at all hyatts and got lots of extras.

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

We flew direct into Oahu from Newark and stayed there for a few nights. It was really nice, but had more of a city aspect to it. Then we flew to Kaui, which was beautiful, and stayed there for 4 nights. Finally we went to Maui, which was great, for 7 nights. I would recommend all three islands, with Kaui being the most romantic, and Maui having the most to do.

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

Depending on how much time you have. Maui and Kauai are the 2 best. If you have extra time and want to spend a day or two in Honolulu and visit Pearl Harbor - you can do that. As for hotels in Maui The Hyatt is a great hotel in a great location, you can also stay in Wailea at the Grand Wailea, or the four Seasons. Also depends on how much you want to spend. In Kauai I would recommend The Hyatt. I am a travel agent so if you need any other info FM and I would be happy to help you.

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

That all sounds great! My future wife and I are lucky enough to be able to honeymoon for 17 days!!! We are going to the Big Island and staying at the Fairmont Orchid, then at the Sheraton on Kuai, and the Four Seasons on Maui. We are taking a day trip while on Maui to visit Pearl Harbor on Oahu. We have a copter trip planned as well in addition to the Sunrise Bike Tour. It was reassuring to hear all you gals had to say about your specific experiences there. Can't wait to go... wedding is July 7th!!!

I heard that Maui is the best for activities, but that Kuwai is the most serene and peaceful.

We are thinking about Hawaii but have not been able to find any all-inclusive resorts. Are there any out there?

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

For that information I would check out Hawaii's website (all states have one) or check out a travel agent. Our travel agent ended up being very, very helpful with the booking of our honeymoon!

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon - Advice for a Bride To Be ????

Hawaii does not have any all inclusives. Some hotels have packages that offer breakfast but that's about it.

No all inclusives but The HYATTS had awesome breakfast Every morning. We paid for it through our travel agent. It was a breakfast buffet and they had everything. People were so mad that they couldn't pay for the buffet.

They Hyatts were really great to us. I would suggest going through a travel agent (we used Liberty Travel in Levittown Emily) only because they can through in the little 'honeymoon couple' in the computer which got us great things there. We took a sunset sail the night we were leaving in Maui. It was 79.00 for the both of us. We were talking to another honeymoon couple and they said they paid 149.00 for it and they didn't book through a travel agent!
