Today is a HORRIBLE DAY!

OKay I was trying not to let things get me down, but I'm really feeling blue.

Yesterday, FH told me that his job is sending him to Florida for 1 - 2 months. So I was sort of sad because we have a lot of projects left to complete before the wedding (photocube, votive candles, programs, menus, pick food, get our license, etc). But I was like, okay let me look at the bright side. At least I get to drive the car again!

But then today I had a horrible lab session (I'm a TAing this year). Everything that could go wrong went wrong.

Finally, my dress has not arrived yet! My bridal salon told me that they told the dress manufacturer that my wedding date is June 3, even though it's July 3 because I live OOT and I am leaving Chicago June 25 to come back to NY. Thank goodness my wedding is not in JUNE! Then they charged me for the balance of the dress and I'm still trying to get that charge removed. UGGHHH!!!!

The only highlight of today is that my Research Group is throwing me a shower today.

Days like that just s*ck. Sorry!! Try to focus on the fun shower your research group is throwing and enjoy the good stuff as much as possible!

Hey Date Twin, if it's any consolation, my dress is not in either. In fact, they can't even give me an estimate of when it will be in

I still have faith that it will come in soon..and I will pray that yours comes in as well..My fingers are crossed...and have fun at he shower!

Awww, guys thanks for all of the support. Tomorrow has to be better than today.

The shower was great. We drank champagne and the cake was off da chain (bad for my diet though). They are making me a personal recipe book. They also bought us a Bride and Groom cookbook and a gift certificate to a shopping mall out here in Chicago.

My wedding is the day after yours at the Crest Hollow Country Club. You should be fine be sure to us those BMs let them know they are not in your wedding for their looks, put them to work to help with projects and things like that. Good luck with everything!!
