UPDATED, WITH PICS...Shawl or wrap for bridesmaid gift?
I want to get my BMs some sort of shawl or wrap to wear over their shoulders in the Church - and I want something they can use again.
If you were a bridesmaid, would you prefer a sheer type of shawl, such as organza? or something silk/cashmere? or something crocheted?

and here is their dress, but in the wrong color (their dress is a tan color with ivory trim)

do you think this is too light for an Oct. 29th wedding? I could go with something like this sheer scarf or a thicker pashmina.

I think this sheer is fine. My girls had something similar and none of them even wore it! I didnt wear mine either.

this one might be my favorite so far, what do you think?

ETA: but this color is wrong. their dresses are a tan color with ivory trim. the picture is taupe, and much more purpley/grey than theirs.

I like sheer better too - I just think they might get a lot more use out of pashmina... I don't know... I could always get a less expensive sheer one and buy them something else for their main gift....

I think I would prefer a Pashmina, but that is because all of the ones I've seen are really soft and a nice material. I think I like that better than organza. While organza looks nice, its not that soft, and so they probably wouldn't use it afterwards. all that much.
